Why Breastfeeding Moms Love Target

Popsugar recently covered Target's viral employee policy concerning breastfeeding.

The photo — first posted on the Mama's Milkies Facebook page — proved how amazing Target is to its customers, those nursing in particular. Not only does the company, in bold print no less, support the act, but it clearly encourages moms to nurse wherever they feel comfortable, even if it's in a fitting room with a line down the aisle.

The image has been shared nearly 15,000 times.

Moms everywhere are in love, not that we needed another reason to love Target. Moms all over the net are sharing their thoughts and experiences about nursing in Target.

One mom told Popsugar:

A month ago I was nursing my daughter and a customer went and got a manager, brought them to where I was nursing( in the men's section with my husband, covered up) and complained. The manager apologized to me and explained to the LADY that I was allowed to feed my baby wherever I am comfortable doing so. And proceeded to explain to the lady that if she didn't like it, don't watch. — Laci Crawford

I'm pleased to add that our local Target has a Starbucks at the front of the store (as many do) where breastfeeding mothers can get free water. When you're breastfeeding, you're perpetually thirsty. It makes nursing on the go more comfortable and convenient.
