When I had the little guy, I had a few awesome friends who helped us more than I'm sure they could ever realize. One came to visit and brought multiple meals that just needed to be heated up in the oven, which made our lives so much easier when my husband got home from work. The other stopped over every single day after work and cuddled with the baby while I took a shower. You know, because showering is always good.

I will forever be grateful for having such wonderful women in my life, but they got it. They were both experiences moms who each had two boys of their own. I didn't have to tell them what I needed – they already knew.
