Stress Relief – When A Massage Won’t Cut It

I’ve perused mommy-centric websites, and between my tears of laughter and nodding my head in solidarity, one topic kept resonating with me: how stressful this mommying gig really is.  How our kids shriek on end and set our nerves on fire.  How the question “Why” is like waving a red flag in front of the bull (you).  How we’re so exhausted from mothering that we don’t have time to care, time to take care of us, let alone take care of our husbands and/or boyfriends.  Hey, I don’t judge. And frankly am too tired to judge you.

With all that stress accumulating like filth at a garbage dump, how do we alleviate the problem? Unless you have a Swiss bank account the rest of us are unaware of, you can’t hire a team of masseuses, psychologists, personal trainers and anyone else in a stress-relief type of field.  What can we as moms do to nip stress in the bud?
