Chaos Amid Clutter

We were having this really deep, almost philosophical, conversation today at work about how disorganization can be paralyzing. The mundane issues we face as women, right? It was actually completely random – I mentioned to one of the girls that I was thinking about taking a vacation as soon as we were finished with our current remodeling project to completely rearrange and reorganize my entire house – the sooner, the better. I can’t handle it anymore. 

I’m generally one of those incredibly organized people. My so-called Type A personality can’t handle the chaos that is my life right now amidst one of the largest projects we’ve taken on to date. Too many things are out of place and it makes me feel uneasy. “A place for everything and everything in its place” – that should by my mantra. 

It’s the little things that are driving me over the edge right now – the Tupperware boxes in my living room, the craft supplies in the little guy’s closet, and not being able to get to a lot of my stuff because it’s everywhere at the moment. I honestly don’t think there’s a room in this house that was left untouched by my craft stuff. Just the simple fact that I have to completely rearrange to find things is enough to give me a headache.
