1. Baby snacks – There are various baby snacks that my son eats on a somewhat consistent basis – Gerber yogurt blends and applesauce are just two examples. Depending upon your baby’s age and what he/she eats, you can put some puffs or arrowroot cookies or any number of other things in his/her Easter basket. We’ll be moving onto some different things soon as well.

2. Pajamas – Where we live, Easter means warmer weather is on its way, so it’s about time to buy some new pajamas for spring – maybe, something a little lighter than the fleece ones we’ve worn all winter. This year, I’m going to be looking for some short-sleeved two-piece pajama sets.

3. Small toys – I’m envisioning a few more little cars and trucks. I’ve had my eyes on the VTech Go Go Smart Wheels sets for some time as well. We already have the fire station. I’m considering getting him either one of the vehicle sets or, maybe, the police station play set. Either way, he’s getting to an age where he loves things that go.

4. Books – Books are almost always one of my go-to choices. I’m thinking, maybe, some Eric Carle books. We don’t have any yet and I’ve heard nothing but wonderful things about them. I’ve seen boxed sets that include several of his books, so that could potentially be a quick and easy way to grow our collection.

5. Swim gear – Easter and spring go hand-in-hand and now is a good time to invest in sunscreen (if your baby is old enough), a hat, etc. We definitely need to get some sunscreen and his first set of swim trunks because the pool will be open soon enough and I’m sure we’ll be spending plenty of time in it this year.

6. Summer toys – This is the time of the year to buy bucket and shovel sets, balls, and bubbles – depending upon how old your baby is going to be, you can choose a few summer toys for him/her to play with outside this year. Maybe, now’s the time to take the plunge and buy your baby’s first pool.

Do you have any ideas for what to put in your baby’s first Easter basket? Is there anything in particular that you’ve had your eyes on lately? Leave a comment and add to the list.
