Although I don't have a child with known food allergies, I'm incredibly mindful of them. I work in childcare, so I'm constantly getting new kiddos in my room. And each time I do, I ask about likes/dislikes as well as food allergies. After all, it's really important. So much so that for some kids it's a matter life or death.

I would never want to put a child in danger, so I do absolutely everything I can to ensure that doesn't happen. And I'm willing to bet all moms can relate.
