4 Skills To Teach Before Your Kids Fly The Nest

We all want our kids to be independent eventually. It's hard to imagine a day when my son won't need me. We're in the trenches of the toddler years and some days I feel like I can't go 10 seconds without hearing “Mommy! I need you!”

Far off as it may seem, the day will come. I hope when the times comes, I will have prepared him for it. I want him to be self-sufficient, independent, and determined. I see the seeds of these character traits sprouting in him already.
