Eating dinner as a family each night warms my heart. It's a small part of the quality time we carve out for our children and ourselves every day.  I can't imagine not doing it.

So imagine my surprise when I learned that the majority of American families don't sit down to dinner together on a regular basis. It seems the family table is becoming a thing of the past.
