The One Thing Parenting Never Does

I remember thinking to myself that once we were done getting up every few hours to eat, things would be easier. I also may or may not have mentioned to my mother-in-law that the little guy crawling would be great because he would be more likely to entertain himself. I'm sure she laughed to herself.

Well, that didn't work out. Getting up every few hours to eat turned into waking up off and on because he was teething. And crawling? Yea, that means making sure everything is picked up and nothing is within his reach becauseĀ I assure you that if he can get to it, it'll end up scattered all over the place.

One mom wrote about how parenting never gets easier, no matter what they tell us. I can definitely relate to what she has to say. Sure, being a mom is amazing and it's constantly changing, but I'm not so sure “getting easier” would be how I'd choose to describe it. Check out what she has to say on the next page.
