My son is a toddler. It's been interesting, to say the least. He's like a tiny tornado that leaves all these little disasters. I walked into the studio one evening and seriously did a double-take as I surveyed the mess. For the life of me, I can't wrap my head around how he can do so much damage so quickly. He definitely does, though.

And these days he responds to just about everything I say with “uh-uh.” That's apparently the word of the year. I ask him if he wants to get dressed – “uh-uh.” Eat – “uh-uh.” Do anything – “uh-uh.” I just keep telling myself it'll be short-lived. Then again, I'm kind of afraid to find out what comes after the “uh-uh” phase. What will the next word be?

Ah, I love him, though. I really do. I try not to let him see my amusement. I find his antics adorable. Really, I do.

One mom had a – we'll call it interesting – experience with her kids and it prompted her to share her 10 rules of parenting. I love these. You're definitely going to want to check them out on the next page.
