Taking care of others is part and parcel of being a mom.  You are so busy getting the kids off to school, making sure hair is combed, teeth are brushed and everyone has lunch money, when do you take care of you?

The best thing about working out is that it allows you to relieve stress.  Let's face it, stress happens.  If you let it go unabated for too long, it will backfire on you in a multitude of ways.  Vicious mood swings, weight gain and insomnia can all be attributed to high levels of stress.

We as mothers have to take care of the most important person in our family's lives – ourselves.  We have to vow to take the time to work on ourselves, and the best way to do that is to squeeze a workout in.  Intervals of workouts, even if they only last 10 minutes, can be beneficial to our bodies, especially lowering stress.
