Ludicrous Parenting Lies

When you're a new mom, you start with a nice clean slate. You're determined to get everything right. You think you'll never make the mistakes you see other moms make.

About the same time you start that list of “I'll never” stuff, you start another similar list too. It's a list of lies.

You tell yourself lies about the things you won't do. You tell yourself you'll never be the mom who's opening cookie boxes in the grocery store and other lies.
