I'm sure you've heard the expression “you can't have your cake and eat it too.” It sucks. I thought I was going to have it all together. I thought I'd be able to work full-time, take care of my son, and still have a hobby. That was a joke.

By a lot of people's definition, I have it all. I work basically full-time outside the home, part-time at home, have my own business and still manage to do all sorts of awesome Pinterest activities with my toddler. Side note: There are a lot of things I don't do that most moms do. I only cook about half the time, if that. My husband and I take turns, so… There's that. And then there's the fact that I have absolutely no part of our finances. That's his thing too.

My son and I have both been sick and I've gotten a nice little reminder that indeed, having it all kinda sucks. You absolutely can't have everything without sacrificing something, trust me. And all the while, I've been ignoring the ever-growing workload piling up in front of me. It just makes me feel guilty, y'all. I know, I know. I'm not Superwoman and I shouldn't have to keep pretending. Let's face it, though. The world doesn't stop spinning just because mama doesn't feel well. It should, but it definitely doesn't. Lol…

One mom wrote about how having it all kinda sucks and I definitely agree with her. You're totally going to want to check this out on the next page.
