I’m The Worst Mother Ever!

“What is wrong with me? I'm totally failing at this mom thing! I'm the worst mother ever!” I cried to my husband as I held our screaming infant daughter.  She had been crying for the better part of 2 weeks. The doctors called it colic. I called it failure.

Surveying our situation only made me feel worse.  I couldn't get my daughter to stop crying, my toddler was acting out in a desperate plea for attention, and I was quickly losing my mind.  I could actually feel my blood pressure rising with each ear piercing wail.

You might not have experienced a colicky baby and a jealous toddler, but I'm certain you've had one of those moments where you feel like the worst mother ever.
