Planning a vacation this summer? If you're the proud mommy of a toddler (or toddlers – bless your heart!), you know that planning a vacation with little ones is not unlike creating a military-style attack plan.

Usually this plan involves a long ride in the car that isn't fun for anyone. Either your kids are screaming to be let out of their car seats and asking for potty breaks every five minutes or, if you're lucky,  you get stuck listening to the Frozen soundtrack interspersed with “Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!” every few seconds for the next two hours.

So what can you do to make sure it's a vacation for you too? How can you keep the kids from losing it during the car ride and keep your sanity too?

Check out the awesome tips for surviving the trip with toddlers on the next page.
