How To Organize Your Filing System For 2016

I tend to start spring cleaning pretty early.  I start in January. Why?  The holidays tend to lead to clutter from decorations, shopping, and visiting guests.  By the time New Year's Day rolls around, I'm looking at my house and considering tossing 1/2 our stuff out for the trash man.

As I'm cleaning up, I start to organize. I love an organized home!  One thing I find myself organizing every few months is our filing system.  My husband handles most of the paperwork, but he tends to just shove things in desk drawers.
