Women Should NEVER Breastfeed In Public!

Kristina Kuzmic is hilarious in this viral video! She makes 4 main points about why women have no business nursing in public. Each “reason” highlights the ridiculous counter argument made by those who truly believe women shouldn't be nursing their babies in public.

Her first argument is that it's offensive to others. After all, as Kuzmic reminds us, breasts do not serve any purpose other than to be sex objects. You can't feed your baby in public because somebody might get the wrong idea and think breasts serve a real purpose… like feeding babies. She also broaches the subject of children noticing nursing mothers. What are we worried about? That children might actually be “screwed up” as she says by discovering that boobs are for feeding babies? Oh the horror!

But what about nursing covers? As Kuzmic points out, many babies won't nurse under a cover. I love how she highlights the ridiculous notion that there is something wrong with a baby not wantint eat under a blanket by saying “babies who push off the cover are just little brats!” Indeed! Because, as she explains, who doesn't want to eat under a hot blanket? “That's not claustrophobic at all!” she jokes.

Her third reason women should never breastfeed in public? Men might look! As crazy as it sounds, some women are truly worried that a nursing mother is “just trying to seduce your husband” when she chooses to nurse in public. I laughed out loud when Kuzmic joked that these moms are “sluts” in the video.  The truth is, as Kuzmic highlights with her satirical comments, men are more likely to look away than stare at nursing moms and breastfeeding mothers are way more interested in feeding their children than stealing your man.

What's the final argument against nursing in public? While nursing is fine, you moms have no business being out and about! If you want to breastfeed you “gave up that right” and should just “Amazon Prime it” Kuzmic suggests.

While it's obvious that Kristina Kuzmic supports nursing mothers (even in public) her satire draws attention to a large group in society that don't. Many people are uncomfortable with moms breastfeeding their children in public. They often don't even realize the ludicrousness of their arguments. Therefore, viral videos like Kuzmic's help to draw attention to the illogical conclusions people can sometimes make and bring awareness to an issue in our society today.
