Joelle Wisler says what we are all thinking in her article for Scary Mommy. Motherhood is hard and sometimes lonely. I guarantee you've had these questions floating around in your head for a while now. Most of us just wouldn't say them out loud. Thanks for voicing our inner monologues Joelle!

Ever caught yourself watching Sesame Street long after the kids have moved on to making tornado-style messes in their rooms? Elmo's World has a pretty catchy tune right? You're singing it in your head right now. It's okay, because I'm sure I'll remember all the words to it years from now.

1. How many times can an adult watch Mr. Noodle do the wrong thing before they want to harm him?

2. Will I ever remember that I need to make dinner every night?

(Usually followed by me wondering how many times in one week we can have pizza without someone calling the nutrition police.)

3. Am I the only one who thinks that growing a human being INSIDE OF YOUR BODY is kind of like Alien?

4. My body parts will eventually start to migrate back to their appropriate places, right? Right?!

5. Did I seriously think my life was hard in college?

6. How can someone be that angry about the right shirt while they are wearing their underwear on backwards?

7. Is being an adult just realizing that sleep is more important than, well, everything?

My husband and I want to go on a vacation without the kids. We don't care where. We're just going to sleep the whole time. Lots and lots of good, uninterrupted sleep. Doesn't that sound nice?

8. How can I feel too old to shop in Target’s Juniors section and too young for the Women’s?

9. How long until My Fitness Pal realizes I’m lying to it?

10. Are all kids this weird?

Yes, I promise. All kids are totally weird.

Didn't that make you feel better?  Be sure to check out the rest of the list for more laughs and don't be afraid to share your own strange mommy questions and thoughts in the comments. Like, does pizza count as a balanced meal if I put broccoli on it?
