Conversations With A Toddler…

Isn't it crazy to think that, even when you have another little human being with you, you can still be lonely? It's definitely crossed my mind a time or two. This life is both awesome and amazing, but doesn't it sometimes feel as if you're all by yourself?

One mom wrote a beautiful essay asking the question are you lonely, mama? Her words really resonated with me. I love my husband and my son and I wouldn't trade them for anything, but sometimes I miss my friends. You know how it goes I'm sure. We're all so busy that it's easy for us to unintentionally forget about each other.

I have an amazing friend who watches my son, for the most part, one day a week. I love her more than you could ever imagine, but It just seems like we don't have the same amount of time as what we used to. We keep saying we're going to get together, but it's so easy to get lost in the day-to-day grind. Or one of the kids gets sick. Or… The list goes on and on.
