Dealing with your toddler's tantrums can be really unnerving.  Sometimes it's hard to regulate your own emotions when you're watching your child battle his.

Often toddlers get upset about things that seem very trivial to us. It's natural to want to reason with them, to try to explain… but it never seems to work. Toddlers are not rational people.

There are lots of books about what to do when your little guy has a full fledged meltdown. There are tons of different methods.  If you're a mom in the trenches of toddlerhood, you've probably tried most of them.
