Here are my favorite Youtube channels for overall daily health:

Yoga with Adriene: https://www.youtube.com/user/yogawithadriene

For years I have tried yoga in various forms, over countless youtube channels and shows on the health channel, through P90X and embarrassing myself at classes. I have finally discovered my inner yogi through Adriene. She has a laidback, down-to-earth attitude, a refreshing change from the “elitist yogi” vibe I get from a lot of instructors. Currently, she is doing a 30-day yoga challenge, perfect for beginners. She explains yoga in a way that is relevant to everyone, and her practice is a perfect blend of yoga for the mind, body, and soul. She always seems to know exactly what I need. On day 8 of her 30-day challenge, I actually conquered the notoriously challenging Pigeon Pose!

Blogilates with Cassey Ho: https://www.youtube.com/user/blogilates

Cassey Ho is my personal fitness hero. She is the only person in the world who can motivate me to work-out. In addition to that, she is the only one who can make 10-minutes seem like a full hour session. Her moves are intense, but you get through them with her hilarious and friendly encouragement and conversation. I feel like I am working out with a good friend. Her youtube and blog includes a vast array of challenges, recipe videos, and all around colorful, motivating inspiration. You can follow her awesome workout calendars that are created and customized each month. Like Adriene above, she is down-to-earth and honest. Best of all, she serves as a great role model, appealing to females of all ages and changing the lives of women around the globe. She is empowering, against body-shaming, and health focused.  I have been following her for nearly two years now, and I have been so inspired to watch her grow her empire with integrity and passion. She puts her fans and viewers first, and truly takes the time to connect with them via social media, and even in person!

Superwoman: https://www.youtube.com/user/IISuperwomanII

Part of staying sane and healthy is appreciating the humor in life, and taking the time to laugh. For your daily dose of humor, try Superwoman. Her videos are relatable to females of all ages, and her videos are often empowering while addressing real topics. My favorite ones are her super-rants!

Soul Pancake: https://www.youtube.com/user/soulpancake

Sometimes, we just need a little perspective. We can’t deny that sometimes life gets the best of us, and it can be a true challenge to stay positive and happy. We may not feel like getting on the yoga mat, daily stress starts to be too much, we find ourselves impatient and snapping at others, or we just feel a dark cloud hovering over us. Fortunately we live in the age of technology, and we have access to a mood-change in the form of visual imagery provided to us by Youtube. Subscribe to Soul Pancake, and when you are feeling low you simply have to get yourself to the channel and press play. Within a minute, things will start to look a little brighter.

*Honorable mention to feed your soul: The Journey of Purpose channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/TheJourneyofPurpose

5. The Domestic Geek: https://www.youtube.com/user/thedomesticgeek1

Your health is not complete without a properly nourished body. The domestic geek makes it easy with her colorful, simple videos with super healthy, amazing recipes. Many of these recipes and smoothies are kid-friendly, and like the other fantastic ladies in this list; she is relatable, friendly, and welcoming. Simply going to her channel and seeing all the video thumbnails of delicious healthy food is enough to take away my craving for chips and whip up a healthy meal. She takes time into consideration, and makes everything seem so easy.

You are ready to own the days! We covered your mind, body, and spirit. Note that these channels are meant to help you when you need an extra push, or a little visual help with getting your daily needs met. It is important to remember to get off the computer and smartphone and connect with the world around you. Now that you have been armed with the tools to maintain your overall daily health, go forth and seize the day!
