Do you ever wonder if you're going to survive the toddler years? I know people talk about the so-called “terrible twos,” but ones can be just as difficult. Heck, my 18-month-old is officially asserting his independence and it's all kinds of fun.

My husband keeps telling me he's going through the “terrible twos” early and I've just been shrugging it off. We had a nice, long chat last night about his red car versus his white car. He's totally in love with Matchbox cars already and that seems to be the new thing that we have to take everywhere with us.

Either way, our nice, long chat was a few real words, lots of made-up ones, and this little thing I like to call attitude. Suddenly, our schedule changed and he thinks we can stay up all night and play, which is certainly not the case.
