Amy Odell and Lori Fradkin teamed up to write a fun list of 11 signs to show you that you really did marry the right guy for Redbook Magazine.

Whether you're questioning your decision because he left the toilet seat up for the millionth time or just need a good laugh, you should definitely read the list. It's reassuring and filled with lighthearted fun!

Here are 4 of my favorite signs from the list:

1. Even after years together, he still does little chivalrous things for you. Like open doors for you or carry you to your doorstep when your feet hurt after wearing high heels all day and you just can't bear to walk one more step.

I'm nursing baby #2 currently and sometimes that means I'm sidelined on the couch with a sleepy infant. My hubs always comes to the rescue with water, the remote control, and sometimes even chocolate. He helps with the kids without my asking and doesn't consider it a chore. It might not be the same as opening my car door, but he's the epitome of chivalrous to an exhausted stay-at-home mom like me.

2. He doesn't try to change you. He knows you're messier than him, that you always need a pet cat, and can't cook to save your life, and all of that is all right by him.

He has never even suggested it. Sometimes I think he might want me to, but when I talk about losing weight or dressing up he's the first to tell me how amazing I look and really mean it.

3. He's close with your family, and he's made sure you've gotten to know his. He'll call your dad or your grandma without any hesitation. It just makes sense that you'd go to his nephew's birthday party, even if he's not there.

My husband is very close with his parents and he's always very kind to mine… even when they might not deserve it. I've always thought that the way a man treats his mom is a great indicator of what sort of husband he will be, so pay attention to those familial relationships before you go down the aisle!

4. He cares about your friends. If one of them is having a bad day, he suggests you go spend time with her or invite her to join the two of you for dinner. If he hasn't heard someone's name in a while, he asks how she's doing.

Does your guy care about your friends? Does he brag about you? Can you vent to him?

Read all about these and other signs you got it right when you married him at Redbook. Then, tell us how you know in the comments.
