Why potty training might not be right for you

There are lots of amazing milestones during the toddler years. Kids are so much fun at this age. They say all sorts of adorable things. Watching them turn from chubby little babies into smiling boys and girls is a lot of fun! One toddler rite of passage we all know and dread is potty training. It’s no fun for parents. Sure, we’re thrilled to be done with diapers, but getting there isn’t for the faint of heart. We’ve all had potty training disasters. 

I made a valiant effort at potty training last spring. I did not succeed. There are a lot of reasons why, but the truth is that it wasn’t right for us. It isn’t right for us. Eventually, we will master the potty, but for now… it’s just not the right time for us. Check out my list to see if you’re really ready for potty training.
