Dear Stay at Home Mom,

I know you feel like you’re not appreciated sometimes. It sometimes feels like way too long since anyone said thank you or gave you a pat on the back. I know you don’t do it for the recognition.

I know you sometimes feel like you have to qualify the very important work you do, because some of us working moms don’t act like it’s a real job.  I know you put “home manager” as your occupation on your Facebook page because “unemployed” rubbed you the wrong way.

I know you are just as exhausted and stressed out as I am. Screaming toddlers and baby schedules are just as exhausting as board meetings and deadlines.

I know there are dark days where you wonder if you made the right choice. You made the right choice.

I know you sometimes worry about how you will ever manage the expenses with only one income. I know there are weeks when you barely scrape by.

I know that you never regret the choice you made to stay home. I know you’d make the same choice again if given the chance.

I know you love your babies just as much as I do.

I know you sometimes feel like no one notices how hard you work. I want you to know that I notice you.

Don’t worry Mom. You’re doing a great job.

Look at those amazing babies. They are thriving! Keep up the good work! You’re amazing!

Sincerely,

A Working Mom
