What Homework Should Be

I hate homework. Personally, I think that evenings should be reserved for spending quality time as a family. My vision definitely doesn't include dealing with last-minute papers and projects. I'm also not a fan of rote memorization. And cramming for tests? Don't even get me started.

Unfortunately, finding a public school that doesn't send home homework is next to impossible.

Left to their own devices, most kids don't need homework. Instead, they need to develop a lifelong love of learning. One mom wrote an absolutely amazing article about the homework she wishes her child brought home from school. I definitely agree with her and can totally relate to this. This would be a dream come true for so many parents.
