Once or twice already, I've haphazardly mentioned to my husband that I'm looking forward to my little guy's teen years. It was meant sarcastically, no doubt. I'm figuring with as strong-willed and independent as he is already, I'll be in for quite the treat.

Sure, there are things to look forward to at every age. And with each stage our kids pass through, there are definitely things we dread. After the so-called terrible twos, the teen years are next on the list of things I'm not sure I'm looking forward to.

Do you remember your teenage years? Do you remember all the crap you put your parents through and all the times your parents threatened you with the line that they hope your kids are half as bad as you were?
