Being a working parent is hard. There are so many things you question – what the best childcare arrangement is and even whether or not you're doing the right thing by leaving your little ones for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week…

Either way, we all just want to do what's best. I happened to stumble across a list of 8 smart things one woman did as a working mom and it made me look at this entire situation a bit differently. From what a few of my friends have told me, I have it good.

The company where I'm employed is incredibly flexible and family-friendly. That's the best part of it. I can come and go as I need to take care of my son, while still contributing to our family's income.
