Mom, I’m Bored

“…but mom, I'm bored.”

Sounds familiar, doesn't it? I'm willing to bet every mom has heard something along these lines. I may not hear this directly because my son is still so young, but I certainly hear the whining. When we were kids we spent most of our summer days outside – playing. We came in for dinner, but otherwise we amused ourselves. Those were the days, weren't they?
