Labor And Delivery Is Full Of Unwanted Surprises

Giving birth is both amazing and terrifying at the same time. It's also full of unwanted surprises. Who knew? I will never forget the day that I gave birth to my son. I had absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into.

I spent so much time researching pregnancy and parenting, but I stayed as far away as possible from anything even remotely related to the birthing process. There was just something about it and, for whatever reason, I didn't care to know at the time.

This mom wrote a list of 20 things no one tells you about giving birth and I assure you it brought back quite a few unpleasant memories. It's a good thing babies are adorable or, after experiencing the post-birth mayhem, none of us would be volunteering to have anymore.
