6 Fun (and messy!) Summertime Projects To Do With Your Kids

It doesn't take very long to get tired of hearing “I'm bored!” or “There's nothing to do at our house” before you're ready to pull all your hair out and run away to a deserted island. Before I lose all my sanity, I start doing projects with the kids. Keeping them busy with fun activities keeps me from losing my mind.

Pinterest is filled with photo worthy crafts and ideas to help you. Unless you're like the majority of the population: craft-challenged. So, if your scrapbook efforts look like something from the notebook of a middle school girl and your melted crayon art looks more like a melted crayon mess… what are you to do?

Thankfully, there are some ideas that don't require you to have an art degree, a bit of talent, or the money to buy expensive ready-made kits to be delivered to your door.  I guarantee these ideas will keep you from going to crazy town rather than push you there faster.
