Acronyms That Are Just For Moms

Do you remember back in the day when we were in middle school and high school and we used to pass notes back and forth full of acronyms that looked like code so no one else could understand us? And then there's the message board lingo that's so common these days.

I remember the first time I saw someone type “DH” instead of “darling husband.” I was so confused. And we won't even get into how long it took me to decipher what “BFP” meant in relationship to pregnancy. It apparently means “big fat positive,” but I was of course clueless.
