6 Reasons Moms Feel Like They’re At Disneyland While Shopping At Costco
After hearing all the rave about Costco, and having a deep-seated hatred for all things Sam Walton related, I was eager to see what all of the fuss was about. The first time I walked into this Mecca, I was dumbstruck. Literally. It took me a good 10 minutes to move past the TVs and computers in the front.
Now, Costco is almost a weekly ritual for me and my boyfriend. After all, he is the card-carrying member, so I let him tag along. We have discovered the joys of a year's supply of allergy medicine (which cost roughly the same as a 30-day supply elsewhere), panko-coated chicken and dark chocolate covered acai berries.
My daughter has reaped the benefits, too. Costco sells a 3-pack of facial cloths at an unbelievable savings. And not any old generic facial cloths. We're talking the good stuff.
All this money-saving is not the biggest draw though. Can you say “free samples”? I must warn you – go to Costco hungry. Don't eat a big breakfast or lunch before venturing in or you will miss out. The free samples are divine. Oh and don't forget to grab a $1.50 hotdog and a drink on the way out! 😉
