Fun Ways To Totally Screw Up Your Kids

We spend a lot of time worrying that we might be screwing up our kids. In truth, we know it's sort of inevitable. I like to think that the point is just not to do it in the same way my parents did. You know, sort of to put my own spin on it.

If we're all going to screw up our kids anyway, why not have some fun with it? I'm pretty sure that's the motto my husband is following when he mocks our toddler or daydreams about embarrassing our someday teenagers.

Let's all step back and take some time to laugh at our mostly irrational fear that we are somehow damaging our kids for life. I mean, how psychologically damaging can it be for me to refuse to buy that plastic elephant at the craft store or make him eat PB & J with crust on the bread?
