8 Things You Can’t Forget To Include In Your Hospital Birth Bag

We planned to deliver my son at a local birthing center. It’s totally different from a hospital setting.  When we needed to transfer to the hospital, I found that there were a few things I wish I had packed, things I would have packed if I had known I’d be at a hospital.

A quick internet search will bombard you with a million lists about what to pack in your birth bag. I have found most of these pretty unhelpful. Most of the lists I come across are very long and include many items the hospital has on hand and will give you for free. Why drag all that stuff in with you while you’re in labor and have to cart it home later? Most of the time using the freebies available at the hospital will work just fine. With everything in mind, here’s what I will be putting in my hospital bag this time:
