Most days, thankfully, I wake up feeling somewhat rested and ready to take on the day and whatever life decides to throw my way. Of course I would prefer just a few more hours of sleep, but at this point I'll take what I can get!! Once I get to sip my morning coffee and see my boys' sweet faces it usually gives me just what I needed to tackle all my Mom Duties.

This mood quickly slips away as I get a glimpse of the heaping mound of laundry waiting for me and as I pass by the pile of dirty dishes in the kitchen sink. But that just means it's time for another cup of Joe and we're ready to rock n' roll! Yup, I sort out and get about 10 loads of laundry ready to go-not like I'll get even half of it done-but hey it's good to dream big, right?! Get the kids packed up to run errands and grocery shopping, make lunch, pick up toys, get the kids down for a nap, do playtime with the kids and go for our afternoon walk, cook dinner, do bathtime, do storytime…..hmmmm did I forget something?

Then there's some days, I wake up and I'm just not feeling it. I feel drained and have zero energy, wondering how in the world I'm going to get through today and still do all the “Mom things” that just have to get done no matter how I feel. Not even coffee does the trick on these kind of days! I'm just too tired to Mom today-but what's a Mom to do?! There's no “sick days” in the books or “vacation days” to countdown to get the much needed R and R we need to feel rejuvenated to take on new challenges and more Mom Duties. That's just not how it works once you become a Mom.

One mom made a hilarious list of signs that you are too tired to Mom today. Check it out on the next page and let us know if you're showing any of these signs?
