7 Reasons That Dogs Are Really A Woman’s Best Friend

1. Dogs always listen. They may not be able to have a conversation with you, but they’ll sit by you, listen intently, and wag their tail in agreement regardless of what you say. You can tell the dog anything and everything that’s on your mind and they’re totally okay with that. Men may listen, but they never seem to actually hear what you’re saying.

2. Your furry friend may not be able to tell you that you look amazing in that little black dress, but I’m betting you’ll never have to listen to him dish up any criticism.

3. Your canine companion won’t share your secrets – with anyone. When you need to vent, the dog’s the best person, or should I say pet, for the job. You don’t have to worry about the dog running off and telling your friends.

4. Dogs aren’t judgmental. Are you tired, irritable, and just all-around having a bad day? Your dog doesn’t mind. He won’t think any less of you. He could care less either way.

5. The dog loves you unconditionally and wants very little in return – as long as you’re meeting your canine companion’s basic needs, you’re never left wondering where you stand with them. They want nothing more than for their physical needs to be met and for you to love them. How hard is that? That’s the best kind of relationship, don’t you think?

6. Dogs are easy. You never have to guess what they want or try to figure them out. Food, water, and a warm place to sleep. That’s about it. They’re definitely nowhere near as complicated as humans are.

7. Dogs are empathetic. They may not understand what’s wrong, but I promise they know when you’re not yourself and they’ll do everything they can to cheer you up. When I was pregnant with my son and sick, it was my chocolate lab who curled up on the couch with me day in and day out with his head on my tummy.
