In this hilarious video, What's Up Moms? tackles the challenges of breastfeeding in public. Relax. After watching, you'll feel more confident about feeding in public because you'll know just what to do when you're feeding baby on the town.

There are 5 steps to breastfeeding in public:

Step 1:  Find a spot to feed the baby. Bathrooms are gross and private designated nursing spots are sort of like unicorns… okay, maybe not that rare – but close.

So where's the best place to feed the baby? The moms in the video suggest finding a place that serves food. That's way more sanitary than a bathroom stall (Gross!).

Step 2:  Attempt to cover up. If your baby is more than six months old, it probably won't work. Hey, it's the effort that counts right?

Also, babies hate those cute nursing covers.  Just try to cover up as much shoulder and boob as you can with a burp rag, napkin, or whatever.

Step 3:  Prepare for the stares.  That's right. You're totally going to get looks. The moms in the video put the looks into three categories. First there are the people who think you totally rock for nursing your baby. Then, there are the people who are super grossed out that you would breastfeed in public. Finally, there are the creepy guys thinking…well, we don't really want to know do we?

I have to admit that in my 2+ years of nursing babies, I have only been given one negative stare down. After all the positive responses, it totally caught me off guard, but it happens so be prepared.

Step 4:  This is probably my absolute favorite step for breastfeeding in public. If you're going to nurse, you've got to get this one step down. It's essential!

You must own it. That's step 4. It's like the video says, you're a rock star! This is about nourishing your kid so just go with it.

Step 5: Take the show on the road.

After you've learned all the steps, it's time to practice. Don't be afraid to nurse anywhere you need to feed baby.

See, you've totally got this. Breastfeeding in public isn't really that hard after all.

When it comes to breastfeeding in public, what have your experiences been? What gave you the courage to nurse in public? Was it ever an issue for you?  Share your story in the comment section.
