Take Yourself On A Date

When is the last time you treated yourself to a genuinely nice time? There is a certain pleasure in relishing time with one’s own company, giving permission to just be, without worry or stress. It saddens me to see women at the nail salon on their phones while getting a pedicure, rather than relaxing in the short amount of time they paid to be alone. When was the last time you visited the theater for a film you wanted to watch, instead of a children’s movie? No mistake, going to the movies with our kids is a fun tradition we would never give up, but you are also allowed to see your favorite actors on the big screen, instead of waiting for them to come out to Netflix.
