3 Things You THOUGHT Would Come True

I'm willing to bet my mom friends will never let me forget some of the crazy things I said before I had my son. It's hard to believe that anyone could be so naive.

Or not. I mean, I'm sure we all had some pretty ridiculous misconceptions about what it would be like to have kids. Heck, I thought I'd still be able to do everything I was doing before – write, make art, keep the house clean, chase after the toddler, etc.

Um… on a good week, I put forth a valiant effort. Most of the time though, I just accept the fact that it isn't happening and I could seriously stand to lower my expectations.
